Description
Burnshield Dressing is made from a fibreless elastic open-cell foam sheeting which is soaked in a sterile water based gel and supplied in a sealed foil pouch.
The dressing helps to absorb and dissipate the heat to reduce the pain and the burn damage. It moisturises the burnt area and soothing tea-tree oils cools the skin thereby minimising trauma or tissue damage.
The gel is non-sticky and will not adhere to wound. It contains a natural anti-bacterial, is non toxic, non irritant and safe to use on children. Applying the dressing over a burnt area also helps prevent contamination.
