Description
The new iPAD SP1 is the latest in the range of intelligent public access defibrillators from one of the worlds leading manufacturers of clinical defibrillator monitors. The iPAD SP1 AED Trainer exactly replicates the iPAD SP1 Defibrillator. It has preprogrammed rescue scenarios that are in accordance with the recommended rescue protocol of international rescue policy making bodies.
It is to be used in conjunction with resuscitation manikins (available separately). It has a standard infrared remote control accessory which renders it operable by an instructor from a distance.
Intended Use:
The i-PAD SP1 Trainer is intended for use during Advanced Cardiac Life Support training, Basic Life Support training, or any other physician approved trainings that deal with the operation of an automated external defibrillator.
The i-PAD SP1 Trainer is not intended for use during actual rescue operations as it can not deliver a defibrillating shock.
It features an Adult to Paediatric Switch to reduce energy delivery for Children needing to be Defibrillated, Clear Voice Prompts, Illuminating Pad placement Guides, Illuminated CPR Guide prompts and "CPR feedback" as well as an audible metronome.
This AED trainer has 8 preprogrammed scenarios to help train just about anybody, or the SP1 Trainer can be guided using the remote control.
