Description
Powerheart AED G3 Child Defibrillation Pads for use on children 1 - 8 years of age or body weight less than 25Kg. Standard defibrillator pads deliver shocks at voltages dangerously high for small children so separate pads are required for use with Powerheart Defibrillators on Children. It cannot be predicted whether a defibrillator shock will be required on a child or an adult so both adult and paediatric pads should be kept with the defibrillator. These reduced energy pads are designed for children aged 1 to 8 years or less than 25kg (55lb) in weight and is therefore an essential part of the defibrillator kit.
- The pads are also non-polarized, which means that either pad can be placed in either position on the patients chest (correct positioning is illustrated on the pads). This makes fitting the pads quicker and easier, speeding up the rescue process.
