Description
Sterochef Blue Detectable Plasters are made of a an exceptionally soft and flexible material.
The other side of the plaster has a Hypo-allergenic adhesive and a highly absorbent pad in the middle. The pad is designed to not stick to the wound and has high absorbency. The plaster has a medical grade adhesive which helps keep plaster in place for longer.
Each Plaster is Sterile and individually sealed in a paper wrapper for quick opening by hand and plaster application.
These plasters have got a foil embedded which can be detected by a metal detector and any food that may be contaminated will be rejected.
Using Blue Detectable Plasters is a legal requirement where food is prepared or handled. The outer side of the plaster must be Blue in colour as this is one colour which is not naturally found in food and thus easier to spot in case of contamination. These also have a detectable foil material so that contaminated food can be spotted and rejected. This is why these are also known as Catering Plasters or Blue Food Plasters.

Size: Finger tip 7.5cm x 2.5cm each plaster, due to its shape some people also find it easier to call these as Butterfly Plasters.
