Description
The Zoll AED Plus Fully Defibrillator delivers the shock on it's own without the need to press the shock button as soon as it detects a shockable heart rhythm. Once the Zoll AED Plus Fully Automatic prompts, “DON’T TOUCH PATIENT,” and the heart analysis begins, a shock will be delivered automatically to the patient after a brief verbal countdown, if a shock is needed. Audio and visual prompts help you rescue with confidence and clarity unmatched by any other automated external defibrillator (AED).
When a cardiac arrest occurs, the fact is that only half of the victims will need a shock. However, all will require cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
A proper CPR is considered very important when dealing with a cardiac arrest patient. Zoll AED Plus also helps during the CPR through the CPR-D Pads supplied with it. ZOLL believes AED (Automated External Defibrillator) should not just deliver a shock but also help the rescuer provide high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
